I have a spare for 30th as no-one wants to come with me.......I know, I'm going to die a sad and lonely old woman surrounded only by thousands of old copies of 'The People's Friend' .....sniff :(

Anyway ......PM me if you're interested.

Bumpman

Oh, sorry about that. I don't really know what to tell you then other then; I hope you got tickets to the electric picnic. There's just so many people looking for tickets to Vicar Street, I really couldn't imagine where you'd get any. Everyone who has them will pretty much be holding on to them for dear life, unless you buy them from eBay that is. It really depends on just how much you want to go.

Brian Bass

nope i dont,i went to oxegen instead, but id really love to see damo, and devendra!..among others

Bumpman

I don't know if Picnic tickets will be any easier to come across... I suppose they will considering that there's 25,000 of them as opposed to 800 Vicar St tickets (per night). I guess you just have to keep looking.

Miss Pink

the picnic is sold out bumpy

Bumpman
07-25-2006, 02:47 PM
Yeah, I know... but it still might be easier to get one of 25,000 sold-out tickets then one of 1,600 sold-out tickets...

Please please please does anyone know where I can get tickets for Vicar St gigs???
I'm trying everything but unfortunately don't have €200 for tickets!

Bumpman
08-01-2006, 01:11 PM
I honestly couldn't imagine that you'd be able to find them outside of ebay now. Everyone's looking for them, but there's only 800 for each night...

To be honest, I think people should be a bit miffed he's only doing two proper dates in Ireland (not counting EP), and as yet *none* in the rest of British Isles/Europe. I know I am.

the rest of British Isles

Bumpman

Ah, whatever. Why would he play off the coast of mainland wicklow. Anyway, do you know what we're a bit miffed about? Less then ten Irish appearances since '03... He's toured europe and america extensively, but he hasn't done an irish tour since '02.

Ah politics. Yeah okay fair enough, I see them as being part of one thing cos I've lived half my life in one and half in the other.

yeah, i think that is pretty uncool too... i mean he is irish... go play for your homland fans!!! but i'm not complaining too much... i just saw him this summer

Bumpman

Well, it doesn't really upset me too much, I mean i've gotten enough chances to see him. But i'm sure some people would have appreciated a second leg of the irish tour, but it just never happened, whereas there was about eight runs in the states. It doesn't really get to me until someone says "Hey damien, i've been a fan for fifty years, you don't play in utah enough". Bloody utah.

If anyone is still looking for a ticket (standing for 30th) - I have one available, again. The person who was going to take it has ignored my PMs, despite appearing online, and so I can only assume that she has changed her mind.

If anyone would like it, PM me please.

That very thought skipped across my mind this morning - very briefly - but I really can't manage at the moment. The ticket will, hopefully, be out of my clutches by tomorrow morning when I wave it off on it's journey back to Ireland.....it could be an emotional moment in the post office.
