Just curious why double spacing is automatic for everytime you hit return when you're posting? Guess it's not a big deal, but it is a bit of a hassle.

Must have something to do with the way the software is written. It's not exactly bugfree. smileys/smiley6.gif

Well nuts, I was thinking that it was just an arbitrary setting Emmitt had picked. Guess I'll just have to learn to deal!

single spaced is too much work for me (me lazy..).. but if you really want to, you can just open up Microsoft Word or Notepad or anything that you can write in, write a couple lines and copy and paste to here. then you'll be ableto keep that format of writing single spaced.

like i said, too much work. lol >_<

I think I sussed it out, cos when I'm at work the double spacing doesn't happen (on a Mac using Safari) and yet when I'm at home it does (XP and Explorer), I've just tried on Mozilla Firebird and the spacing is normal....

If in doubt always blame microsoft hehe!!!!!!

you can just hold down <Shift> when you hit <Enter> rather than have to change any settings...

smileys/smiley36.gifhaha! Good dig, JJ! http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
oooh this is cool... and yes I've been wondering forever how to do this!
I like the shift option better cos if I turn off that post editor thingy it makes me give script prompts for fonts and such...

but yeah spacing is better for some breathing room and stretchiness smileys/smiley2.gif
