hello, when i saw damien i saw he surely used a marshall distortion pedal that broke at the end of the set and he threw it(it was quite funny, it was at the philly tla show in september 2003), he has a line 6 dl-4, he has some octave pedal, and some phaser/chorus pedal i couldnt tell, he also had some compression pedal. damien also uses alowden acoustic cutaway as you may know if youve ever seen him live. thats all i really know, hope i could help.

what's he use to get the "electric" guitar sound? what pedal was that? used it on ALOT of songs at the 11/28 show in Dallas...Overdrive pedal maybe? He used it on Volcano heavily.

Well it's your basic distortion pedal, but I'm just not sure what brand or model (though apparently it's a Marshall from the post above).Edited by: Scon

Does he not also have a wah pedal of some sort? If you watch the video of Volcano from David Lettermen (Tom Green hosted), you can see him using some kind of expression pedal. Sounds like wah to me.

He does indeed, but it's seperate to the distortion pedal.

ya, some guitar players will have a ton of pedals up there. others will only have one or two. just depends on what sounds you need.

i didn't expect ANY pedals, but they really make the live show even better.

I don't know how pounds translate to dollars, but i'd suggest Alvarez guitars, or..maybe a Takamine.

a DX1? no. Save up a little cash and get an OOOC-15. THAT's a nice guitar.
