I've had his album for a year + (which is a long time for an american) but he's finally starting to explode over here. I mean... f**king damienrice.com is crashed cause of a bandwith overload! I've never seen that happen before.. and i go there almost every day.

it happened once or twice before... i think after the jools holland it crashed... but fair play he is certainley making an impression over there... just wished he'd come back cos he hasnt played a gig since December (or the fair trade gig)

The bloke is a genius and i wish him all the success in the world! I agree with "Jeweller" he needs to do more gigs at home. Its understandable that he wants to make the most of cracking the US and UK, but hope he doesnt forget his core fans! Ahh Im sure he wont!
I take great pleasure in being a fan of his from the early years before he hit it big. (Although im sure some of you guys have been fans for longer, i've only been onboard for a year or two).
Cant wait to see himself and Lisa at Witnness this year!
