it was a great show (besides for the TMBG superfan-assholes), amazing weekend..
setlist:

Delicate
broken string lisa inprov (Broken Soul)
Should I Go (Scarecrow?)
broken string lisa (Mercedes Benz)
Blower's Daughter
I Remember
The Professor
Cold Water
Volcano

he was awesome, absolutely fabulous. he did break two strings consecutivly but he did not let this shake him. The professor was rocking and volcano was AMAZING. the band was so tight, lisa was amazing. And it was awesome for him to recieve the award.

yes lisa looked amazing, and the crowd really loved the two songs she did solo while damien had to change strings, her voice is so melodic, amazing.

Really good show. Lisa and Damien sounded awsome. Does anyone know what guitar he played at the show? It sounds amazing, and have never seen it before for sale in a store.

Hey what's up, I drove from NYC to check out Damo's set.. I wish Lisa would have had a chance to belt out some opera as she did a few days earlier (south street seaport) with 'eskimo'..... Sucks that Damo's guitar strings kept breaking!!

By the way I have pictures as well from Penn's landing, I was on the left side in the front, I'll post em as well

</BLOCKQUOTE>It looks to me like the Kathryn Williams album, could be wrong though. She supported him during his last Irish tour.

Paranoidandroid.... he was playing an old Lowden guitar. They're very pricy and the demand's currently bigger than production I hear. I believe Damien's is worth about 3000, though he did buy it 2nd hand,

hmm..what exactly was this? the set seems shorter than normal. it was an awards show of sort? the gigs in sep/oct are full band full set gigs right? i'm going to try and record him in LA (assuming i can afford the ticket and the f**king $12 service charge ticketweb adds...)

this was a radio festival...each performer depending on their slot played 30-60 minutes

What up Jay? Where were you standing? If you took those pictures, it seems I was right next to you. You notice someone get into an argument with security right before the set?
This is the setlist, I posted this up on the official site, in a different format, but just a couple corrections to yours:
<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">
1) Delicate *
2) Be My Husband # (Lisa, Tomo, and Shane)
3) Insane*
4) Mercedes Benz @ (Lisa a capella)
5) Amy
6) I Remember &amp; (Intro Only)
7) The Professor -&gt; La Fille Danse
8) Cold Water
9) Volcano</BLOCKQUOTE>
*Damien breaks a string. When the song ends, he leaves the stage and has Lisa take over, returning after her songends.
# Andy Stroud/Nina Simone Cover
@ Janis Joplin Cover
&amp; Played the intro with Lisa singing and ended before the change when Damien comes in.

yeah mario, that guy was some TMBG superfan dick...i wish he woulda gotten kicked out....i would have laughed...also he definitly did not play amie, in the 5 slot was definitly The Blowers Daughter, im positive because i called my friend during it

Hmmm, I wrote down Amy, but it does make more sense they would've played Blower's Daughter, now i forget. And I always get the intros to those two songs confused, because it takes forever to get to the chorus and say the title.

What is TMBG?

the pictures are amazing! i didn'tbring my camera because when i got my tickets it said absolutely no video, audio recording including cameras and that they would be conducting searches.i really didn't want to have to throw my camera out or have it confiscated, so...glad to see someone didn't take them literally!

i can't say i enjoyed this show as much as the one in ny at the seaport. granted some things were out of the band's control like a short time slot and strings breaking but i was disappointed. i think my disappointment started when they teased us with the intro to i remember and didn't finish. arrrgghh!they still did a great job, but not the best i've seen.

ahhh, right. Left when Damien walked off stage, so I completely forgot they were there.
