im not having a go at him so dont get me wrong but he seems to break a string or two at every gig he plays just to give lisa her chance to sing some songs a cappella!! do u think its just a set up on their part to do for each gig or he really does break a string every time!!

I'd say he's just giving it sooo much he breaks them. Can imigine he'd need to come up with a reason to allow someone withas sweet a voice as lisa a chance to shine. Although it's a high amount of strings to be braking!!

if lisa actually isnt joining him on the fall US tour he will need a backup plan (guitar)

Hey what's up guys, I just came back from Philly where I checked out Damo's show.. and met up with the bassist Shane. IT REALLY SUCKED that Damien kept breaking his strings, I feel like it took away from the show.. and he didn't sing Eskimo, which was a dissapointment. All in all it was a greaat show, I am a very big fan..

I think the strings are picking up on the feelings in the songs and breaking in sympathy with his heart...

Seriously though, I don't think there's any major conspiracy... he just plays too hard sometimes.

I thing he just gets so taken away with it all, there hasnt been a gig of his ive been to or heard about where he hasnt broken a string, which is a good sign I suppose.Or he could just invest in some form of radioactive,non-breakable type strings!Yeah Ive no idea where I'm going with this...

I have to be honest! I've seen him twice and not noticed him breaking any strings! Dont know what that suggests......? I'd like to think that they pull it off so well that the majority of the crowd dont spot it and think that its just Lisa's time to shine!!

Ive never seen Vivienne cause she didnt come to Galway 2 years ago and then she left or got fired for a while and they had a cellist called Nicky who was from Scotland, she was preggers though and left after she had the baby. Does anyone else remember her??
