which album?

hello there,


i was at a festival last weekend and saw damien rice for the first time, never having heard him before. i was with my sister, who's birthday it is on monday. i really want to buy her an album for her birthday, can only afford to get one, and don't know which one to get! (i think ultimately we'll both get them all, but at this stage i just have to choose one).


i'd be really grateful if anyone could suggest a 'starter album' for this clever man. and to do so as soon as possible, because time is running out!


i hope anyone reading has already had the pleasure of seeing damien performing live.
