Anybody know what thickness of plectrum he uses. i realize that for most of his songs he barely uses a plectrum at all, but he's got to for some of them heavy songs right?

when i started playing guitar i used the really really thin ones (i mean paper thin). and the more i play the thicker plectrum i prefer. today i couldnt find a plectrum anywhere so i had to use a really thick bass guitar plectrum (reluctantley). but playin with it now gives the strings such a good sound! - i recomend you try it

but back to damien! hhhmmm. well if anyone can give info i would very much apreciate it. thankyou

hi oli... i have no idea what a plectrum is so i can't answer your question... is a plectrum a pick? i would assume so from the way you are talking about them... if that's the case i have no idea what thickness pick damien uses... i would guess it's somewhere in the middle though because his strumming never sounds too harsh but there is not a lot of pick-bend sound in recordings...
