Why do people keep referring to "Tongue" as a Damien song, when it was Bell X1 who recorded and released it?

I know that they were all in Juniper together but that doesn't matter.

What am I missing here?

well they all wrote it together but as you said the bellies released but damien has performed it at some live gigs. problem solved!
