I would guess (without having listened to the song again) that the chord is : 224442, ie. B with an F# bass note.

I forget what it actually is but the high and dry introduction is at fret 11 I think and its a funny looking chord, only 2 strings are fretted. My friend used to have the tab book.

Most of the tabs I have seen on this chord is:
e--------
B --------
G ---2----
D ---4----
A ---x----
E ---2----
I don't have my guitar in front of me, but I think I use my first finger on the second fretlow E string, mymiddle fingeron the second fretG string, and my pinkie on the fourth fret D string. Hope this helps.

Ian, the part your talking about is the other guitar. He uses octave chords and it looks like this:
e ------------------------------------------------------
B ------------------------------------------------------
G ---13-13-13-13\11-11-11--13-13-13-13\9-9-9-9-9-9-9
D ------------------------------------------------------
A ---11-11-11-11\ 9- 9- 9--11-11-11-11\7-7-7-7-7-7-7
E ------------------------------------------------------
Great song.
