hey if anyone knows the cannonball chorus off the live version (when he plays up the guitar in frets 3,4,5) will you e mail it to me to confirm. Rams2002@sbcglobal.net. my yahoo messanger name is the same as my e mail
hmm, erm im not SURE if i play this correctly (is that a word?) but it sounds about right
so it capo 6th
e----0--------0--------0--------0------
B----3--------4p3------3--------3------
G----4p0h4----X--------0--------0-----
D----5--------5--------4p0h4----4p0h4-
A----5--------5--------5--------5------
E----3--------3--------5--------5------
it looks a bit wonkey when u see it on here but you can see what it means
btw p=pull off nd h=hammer on
(i want no scarcastic replies to me telling you that) "and the first string is "e" smileys/smiley36.gif

Very cheeky putting myself on the "musicians" forum but ... I don't suppose anyone has the chords to Cannonball in a 'chords over lyrics' type set up for those who are truly sh*te and not as gifted as you good people.
I'd be most grateful,
Ste.

lol Hey Ste everyone has to learn sometime, I'm sure you're a fine guitarist anyhoo...I picked these up somewhere, obviouslly you don't get the same sound that you would from playing the actually riff but play the rhythm in time and it sounds quite cool
Capo on the 6th fret
Em C  ; G  ; D
Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
Em&nbs p; C  ; G  ; D
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
Em&nbs p; C  ; G  ; D  ;  ;  ; C (slide C up to 3rd fret)
Step a little closer to me so I cant see whats goin on
Verse 2:
Same chords as verse 1
Still a little bit of your ghost your weakness
Still a little bit of your face i long to kiss
Still a little hard to say whats goin on
Chorus:
G  ; C  ; D
Stones thought me to fly
G  ; C  ; D
Love thought me to cry
G  ; C  ; D
Life thought me to die
C  ; C 3rd fret Em
But its not hard to fall when you float like a cannonball

ok, when i play cannonball it is very similar to cheese's 'poor
man' version. however, my ring finger always stays on the 3rd
fret of the b string. its Emin (with the b string thing of course), C7
(i think? its just C with the b string thing, duh), G (muted high e
string), and then move ur pinter from 2nd fret A string to second
fret G string. chorus is just g, c, d, with the b sring thing. let the
high e string ring out on the chorus and it sounds like the album
version.
