Hey guys and gals, i just hada quick question. I havnt been playing guitar too long but i have always woundered how to read chord names with Suspend and etc. For example like Asus4 , what does suspend 4 mean? and how do you figure that out on a guitar? Is it suspend the 4th note or whatever? Sorry if my discription is a little confusing.
I know what A/G means for example... Atleast i think i know what it means, doesnt it mean like the A chord with a G on the fat E string? Well im a newbie so plz dont explode on my stupidity =P, thanks guys

that ade and rice's link explains suspended chords well, see if there's anything you don't understand and let us know smileys/smiley2.gif
and like you said, A/G means that you play A chord with G being the lowest tone of the chord...
