Damien’s 2-CD idea

I was just thinking about the new album last weekend and remembered something Damien said to one of the eskimos. I think it was after a show in America earlier in the year. Anyway he was asked about the new album and said something about a 2-CD idea that he had. So I was thinking it might be a CD-DVD release, the DVD being the same one they're looking for material for at the moment. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...it'd be great though...extra bonuses smileys/smiley4.gif

Doubtful it'd be on the CD but maybe as backing for part of the DVD...actually he might even do another version especially for the occasion...ooh the possibilities smileys/smiley4.gif

"O" was originally supposed to be a double-album but they scrapped that idea as they thought it would be too much for people to take in for a debut album.

The Beauty And The Beast: it was going to have a 'beautiful, delicate' CD (aka "O") and then the 'angry, pissed off' CD with songs like The Professor and Down.

That eskimo was me and yes it was justa few months ago that he told me that. Here's the section from my original post that mentions it:


I asked him about the original concept of "O" being a double album and he said the new one might be two CD's. I excitedly asked "you mean a double album?" and he said "well not necessarily, but I have an idea, an interestingconceptto haveit be two CD's".
