would someone be able to send me a pic or show me a picture of a REAL damo signature because i always see damo signed pictures popping up on e-bay and would love to get one but all the pictures always look a bit suspect and fake! smileys/smiley7.gif So could someone show me a real one so i know what i'm getting is real damo!

Cheers Friends!

Sorry, mestonf, I wouldn't know what a genuine Damo sig looks like, but I have been trying to think why your sig is so familiar, that is a very lovely Ro song, is it not?

Maybe better to not show it here, because that could lead to someone finding it and copying it. Maybe someone can email you one, Felix. smileys/smiley1.gif

well on the ones he did for my friends and I he drew a unique picture for each. This could explain why they all appear sodifferent to you.

Rightly so. I bet most autographs on eBay are fake.

yeah thats probably right angela, how annoying if they are, that really is stupid people making money out of fake autographs smileys/smiley7.gif

That's what eBay is for - to make money smileys/smiley2.gifI guess it's just too tempting. Fake sports memorabilia, fake handbags, fake Rolexes, illegal bootlegs....the list goes on and on. But I think autographs have always been a business where you have to wonder how to authenticate what you buy.

yeah would i be right in saying that a certificate of authenticy would clear my query?

all im going to say is i met him at bonarroo and he signed a paper for me ... he also made a little picture along with his autograph...the picture was of a guy fishing.... very cool stuff to take time to do something like that for a fan!!!!

No. Want me to type one up for you? smileys/smiley2.gif

Awwww...poor Felix. I think I'm with Zach: wait until Damien tours England again and get the autograph yourself. It will be such a better memento, too, having been written for you smileys/smiley1.gif

Yeah i suppose that will be a lot more special! Its just being able to wait behind after the gig and not have to run for a train to get home, thats always annoying!

So many people trying to make an extra buck, it is wise to seek authenticity whenever possible....
