Daniel

No problem. I hadn't looked at the official site in ages and there it was.
Kinda lowkey announcement if you ask me. Could be cool though.

this is what I got back;
No tickets are issued - names are put on a guestlist.
This does not however guarantee entry as it will be based on a first come first in basis so I advise you arrive early.
More info to follow once you confirm your number.
sounds like a lot of effort.

That's the same reply that I have had too! What do you think are our chances of getting in?

Felix, it was posted on Damien's website yesterday, but I didn't notice it yesterday, I must be slippingsmileys/smiley36.gif!

ahh man i looked at the site yesterday but didn't see anything, i hope we all get to go!

Can you imagine the disappointment of queueing for hours, just to be turned away at the last minutesmileys/smiley19.gif, breaks my heart just thinking about it!

mestonf
11-01-2004, 04:53 PM
yeah thats what worries me! What time do you think would be the best time to get there without being turned away, i'm thinking 4?

mari
11-01-2004, 04:57 PM
Well Felix, I think my e-mail mentioned doors opening at about 6.oo p.m. So I'm not sure that arriving at 4.00 would be sufficient. I don't have any experience of this kind of set up. All the bands I have seen, I have applied for a ticket and been sent it in advance, so any advice for this one would be welcome!smileys/smiley5.gif.

mestonf
11-01-2004, 05:01 PM
yeah me too, well i think then 3?

mari
11-01-2004, 05:10 PM
That sounds more likely, although who knows how many people will be prepared to wait hours and hours, just in case they get in? I think it's a case of the blind leading the blind at the moment!smileys/smiley36.gif. Anyway the earlier you get in, surely the better the view you'll get. Just imagine being really close....ooh! sorry getting carried away, now!smileys/smiley36.gif.

mestonf
11-01-2004, 05:15 PM
yeah it is quite cool to think we could see him soon, but i think 3 sounds the best idea and f we don't get in then what the hell, sh*t happens, it will be really annoying but we can always go and get drunk somewhere in london instead to drown our sorrows!

SO who ever says they are on the guest list should let us know then if they want we can have an Eskimo Friends meet up!
