What did everyone think of the St Lukes gig on BBC 4 on Fri??
Personally I thought it was good BUT I think a lot of the magic I experienced at the actual gig was lost on the TV programme!!!
As I keep saying this was the 1st time I've seen Damien at the group live and on the night I was that blown away I could have cryed!!smileys/smiley19.gifsmileys/smiley4.gifsmileys/smiley19.gif
The things I feel were lost was -
The Setting - on the night the window you could see behind the stage looked amazing with Damo and the group in front of it!!! The whole church with all the lights down and just the stage with the candles looked beautiful!!
Whenever Lisa sung it was unbelievable!!! TV certainly doesn't do her voice justice at all!!!!!
They also cut out The Professor & Older Chests which I thought were great!!!
But anyway thats all negative and no good for anyone!!!
It was still great to see again, I think was just expecting it to live up to the actual night AND IT WAS NEVER GOING TO!!!
Damien is a genius live!!! The effecthe can get with just 1 accoustic guitar!!!
The whole band are just great and it was a pleasure to be able to see them live!!!
Seeing them live gave me a whole new love of O!!
