i think people probably wont post as much.. since they can just say it through the chat right? but it would be a nice idea i guess.. i do agree that it would take away from the forum.

i like it better like this. no chat.=/

i tend to agree with tania alot but its so hard to have everyone on at the same time... i dont think it would take away from the messageboard as opinions are posted on a messageboard and a chatroom is just for nonsense chat...

could try linking an irc page to it emmett... you can still log into it via browser i think

Heres a chat software you can use with websites http://www.chattersonline.com/ (http://www.chattersonline.com/)

worth giving a shot and if we arent posting here as much then get rid of it but i doubt that will happen

Its worth giving it a go i reckon, but i think i'd prefer it the way it is. I hate chat rooms, but i'll wait and see what it's like. Since your on a roll so far Emmett!

I don't really like chatrooms, ive been on quite a few messageboards which have chat rooms attatched to them and they hardly get used to be honest, very rarely anyway, and people normally forget about it after a while

It might be good though, cos if you look away from here for 10 minutes there are 90 more strings to read... so it would keep the Msg brd for just the big difficult questions... wait a minute... what big difficult questions? smileys/smiley5.gif

theres one board i go to where people constantly post and use aol instant messanger to create their own chatroom and it doesnt take away from the amount of posting. id say if you guys wanted to have a chatroom but someone would have to be in all day long for it to be up, id just use aim. and you can just name the room eskimo friends.
