Images in signatures

remember in the old igloo, we used to be able to have pictures and stuff in our signatures??? emmett, is there any way you can enable that here? hope im not asking too much, its grand if you're not able to, just i kinda miss the panda... :smiley1:

i hate images in signatures, you go to sites sometimes and people have these GIF's in their signature that are about 3 megabytes... even when they're reserved to small JPEG's i still find it a bit unnecessary. It's a bit intrusive on the flow of posts isn't it? like when you open a thread and you see the same 15 line poem on every second thread.

yeah, i cold do it, but they recommend that you don't, that it slows things down... and then there is that problem of being faced with the same image so often in one thread... i think i prefer it with just text too

i think phpbb is already cluttered. i'm a bit hypocritical in having an avitar...but meh...if it's gonna be there...why not

Who wants a 20x20 pixel avatar! :smiley24: I think at the bottom of a message pepole usually put images that don't fit the avatar size/format

Its never a good idea to have images in sigs it just clutters up the page and you see the same image over and over again. Keep it like this its all neat and tidy.
