Something Vyvienne said in the interview on newstalk today that I liked.
When asked about how good the bam gig would be. "The earth will move" Either thats an unintentional verbal gaff given the circumstances of the gig or an amazingly ballsy attempt at dark humour. I laughed either way. Good version of the Beatles "Come together" as well. Better then Purple Haze, not as good as Seven Nation Army. I'd buy a "Vyv reinterpretes the classics for cello" album if she released it. |
It was a very good version , great song, one of Lennons classics. I agree not mad about purple haze dont think it works, Seven army nation is excellent. She was very shy, sounded nervous at the start, I thought Tomo sounded a real nice guy.

Yeah I thought the same. She also seemed nervous when she was talking at Vicar St. in december. You would think she'ld be used to it by now. Interesting speaking voice, unusual accent.

She's from England right?</font>

No idea

yeah she is from england, I came across that little fact somewhere online

Oh come on now, she's a posh Dub. Don't let her hear you calling her English!

I work in Newstalk and met them all when they were in. They were so so nice. Everyone should go to that gig.
