i think that a glass of water helps hickups
I usually have a glass of milk.
You shouldn't drink at all when you have hickups! Ibelieve my biology teacher once told me you can drown that way or something. Ehm, never mind. I still believe the best way to stop hickups is to hold your breathe. |
yes,you are right...i hold my breath repeatedly until it stops...sometimes i try to get someone to scare me,but i'm not so sure that this actually works
another method is to get a glass of water and put a knife in it, and press the end of the knife against (the flat part) your forehead, i never tried this and i doubt it will work,i heard it from a drunk guy in a pub,
drink water backwards..
how do you drink water backwards??????? i always hold my breath to cure hiccups |
i dont have any hickups tonight
A teaspoon of sugar works as well.... something to do with the granuals the way they slide down your throat... I reckon a Teaspoon of salt would work as well..... But I dont know anyone that could stomach to take a teaspoon of salt....
has anyone tried shaving their head, but only if its really bad
umm no can't say that i have
i think i just made that one up, well lets see who can come up whit the ceazyiest way to get rid of hickups
not too crazy.. butholding my breath usually works for me ^.^
I only get hiccups when I drink beer, the best cure I've found is to drink lots more beer, sometimes they don't stop but by that time you will be too drunk to care .... !!
i have always wondered, does scaring someone work in curing hiccups? i mean when you get scared, most people gasp so i dont see why it wouldn't work. but for me, i hold my breath for 10 seconds Edited by: LadySubaru

I don't know if scaring works but it is good fun anyway ...
yeah i must agree. scaring tis alot of fun
i guess im lazy...i just wait for the hiccups to go away rather than searching for a way, that most likely wouldn't work
