Oddly enough, the "I love you" that sticks out the most in my mind did not come from the man I ended up marrying...
When I was a senior in high school, my boyfriend and I broke up right before prom. He found himself another girlfriend within days but we ended up still going to prom together. It would have been a totally miserable time - the dance was a disaster, especially after my ex disappeared with his girlfriend, leaving me partnerless for the final dance of the evening. My friend Chris, who had come to the dance with a mutual friend, ended up explaining the situation to his date and he came and sat with me through the final song, the two of us poking gentle fun at our classmates. When the final dance was over, he gave me a big hug and told me that he loved me. We'd been close friends for years, but he'd never said those words. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he blushed crimson before he suggested that we take the car and leave my ex to find his own way home. |
The first woman i ever told i loved her was vicky. We met one night near her school, it would have been about 8!! She was wearin Blue jeans, Black van Trainers, and a pink hoodie! I was wearin blue flaired jeans, with green stichings, my beige van shoes and a nirvana long sleeved top and a nirvana hooded top. We just mt up to talk and meet up, you knwo just hang out!! Well we walked around her school grounds and messed around. anyway we started to walk back to hers, cause she lived quite a distance away from me, and i didnt want her to walk home alone! so i was walkin her home, and it started to rain, we was just next to the priory (the church in my old town), which meant we was about 15 minutes away from her home! So we just stopped in a bus shelter for some cover, from the rain. well we started talkin again, but i wasnt listenin to word she was sayin i just stared at her, i was fixed on her eyes, and watchion her lips move! She had the nicest lips ever, and the nicest cheeks!! the rain started to stop slowly, and i knew i had to tell her, so i said "Vicky..." and she said "um...". "Ive got something to tell you" and she moved closer and took my hand and said "whats up, youve been quiet all night long!" and i just smiled and looked at her and said "can i hold you?" and she was like course you can... So i moved up and held her tight, i moved her hair back and kissed her lobe, and said "I love you".
I heard her breath sudden and i thougth Bravo carl, you tit!! you've gone and done it now!! and her breathing got faster, and she was still holdin me!! and she kissed my lobe and siad "I love you too". i was like but i love you more than a friend i really love you, and she said the same back!! i was so shocked and happy. So i walked her home, andwe came to her doorstep and i kissed her good night!! and i walked home and it rained and it rained sooo much!! but i didnt care it was worth it! it took me 1hour and 30mins whe it shoould have taken me no more than 45 mins! I was soo happy!! |

I haven't said I love you to someone, but I plan to tell my guy when he gets back. I wanted to tell him before he left, but decided against it. We had only known each other a few weeks, and I didn't want to scare him. Also, he was leaving and I was afraid an "i love you" might keep him from his plans.
someone told me he loved me, but I didn't think it was anything special. We only knew each other 3 days when he said it so i'm not sure how sincere it was. I don't even talk to him anymore. |
i have actually the best story ever.....
we were sittin on a bench when a drunk hobo claiming to be bulgaria(then irland, then france) gave a lecture on honouring women and how i'm to always love her (my girlfriend) and he eventually leaves and she smiles and asks; ''So do you love me?'' |
I'm loving all of your stories! So all I can manage to breathe is AWWWWWWWWW!!!!
|
No, no, no, my story is the best so far...
A couple of months ago, I was crossing a street with much traffic. Suddenly someone shouted at me out of a car: "Hey, you ****in' idiot!" Overwhelmed I replied: "Oh, cheers, mate, I love you too." |
The girl I am with now...
We were lying in bed one night, after an awesome night, we had laughed loads, had a great time and were just chilling out, cuddlin' and smooching. I said 'You know what, if I don't love you right now, then I am terrified of what falling in love must be like... I think you are amazing.' She said she had been dying to say it for a while but didn't want to scare me off. I said 'I'm not going anywhere.' |

A couple are celebrating their 80th wedding anniversary after being confirmed as world record holders. Percy Arrowsmith, 105, and his 100-year-old wife Florence, from Hereford, were married on June 1, 1925 and have remained together ever since. Mrs Arrowsmith revealed that they still kiss each other every night before going to sleep and hold hands, adding: "He can't settle down if I'm not holding his hand." Guinness World Records has confirmed their marriage as the longest for a living couple. And with a staggering combined age of 205, they also hold the title for "oldest married couple's aggregate age". The pair have three children, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and claim the key to a good marriage is not to sleep on an argument. Guinness officials presented Mr and Mrs Arrowsmith with a certificate officially recognising their achievement. The couple were married at St Peter's Church, Hereford, where he sang in the choir and she was the Sunday school teacher. http://eur.news1.yimg.com/eur.yimg.c...4024850347.jpg |
