I'm interviewing Lisa tomorrow!
 

Hey all!

Wheels, hope you don't mind, I've put this in the main section just because it's a bit urgent and I figured more people would see it here. If that's a problem, just bump it to the Lisa section :)

So, tomorrow, Rob (agonofinis) and I are going to be interviewing Lisa before her Phoenix gig. I thought it might be nice, since Lisa knows about this site, to ask a few questions from members here. So, if you've got a question that you'd really like to ask her, or if you can think of a really interesting/original one, then post it here. Tomorrow we'll pick a few and ask her as many as we can.

maybe could you ask if she's already writing for album 2???

and, if she plan to do an European tour???

maybe you can comment on Ray Lamontagne recently mentioning he'd like to work with Lisa!!!!! would she reciprocate??? and as extention, which other artists she would like to work with???

I have one question that's been bugging me for a while: Is it she singing the backing vocals on the original of Queen of Hearts? There is a faint female voice there a few times that sure sounds like her.

Ask her if she knows how close the Netherlands is to Ireland and how great the venues are in Amsterdam :)

And; is she happy??

Is she thinking of touring SouthAmerica? Chile, Argentina, Brazil...?? and if she comes to Chile... my suggestion is that she comes to Viña del Mar :D (cuz all the singers and bands always go to Santiago and it's just not fair we have to travel for hours all the time :( and besides.. Santiago has no ocean ... and Viña del Mar is the best touristic city of Chile with beautiful beaches.... :D she'll love it !)

And of course tell her that she is amazing!!:hello2:

Like... If you could date one eskimo, who would it be? Of course whatever she answers you have to say she said me... or you're banned :)

Oh i forgot, is she perhaps going to add/ sing more opera stuff in future songs again!?

I believe it was her dream, as a child, to become an opera singer..

When is she moving to NYC? She told me close to 3 years ago she adores it and would move here tomorrow if she could (I said ditto for Ireland). Now that she's solo she should be much closer to that goal.

Congrats, btw, to you both!

I'd also like to know if she's planning to release her record and/or tour in Latin America, specifically México in my case :D. Please tell her we love her here!!

Also, I remember her mentioning she was watching "The Wire", a show that I love, so if I could add an extra question I'd ask her which season she is on now and how she was enjoying it (her thoughts on it).

Tell he i want her to come to vancouver, BC, and that she needs to visit Canada everytime she comes to NA because most musicains like The Frames/Swell Season don't hit Canada as much as they hit the States.. The swell season has gone to seattle like 5 times but NEVER have come to Vancouver, BC! So make sure she sets up another gig here in Vancouver, BC, CANADA will ya? ;) <3

And if there's any lover in her life? haha

Ask if Damien has asked for her to come back to work on something with him and if she know's what Damien is up to or if she has talked to him at all lately.

Ask her could she send an e-mail to my boss as I loaned him Sea Sew months ago and I think he has forgotten about it. She has my permission to call him a langer.

I have no questions to add, just wanted to say have fun with the interview!! Tell her we all love her (you may want to leave out the part about how many guys here want to marry her - I could see that freaking her out a bit!)

yeah, avoid the Damo-related questions, that makes her a bit uncomfortable I think. and it's really annoying when people ask her once and again the same question. I read tons of interviews that have the same Qs "¨Have he heard the album?" "What does he think fo the album?" "Have you talked to him since you separated ways", etc, etc. anyway , it's just my opinion

Ask her if she can come and make a small gig in Gothenburg. She can be couchsurfing at my place. :)
Or maybe you can ask her if she wants to show me around Ireland before the cork gig.
Or when I think about it, just ask her which is her favourite-song in the whole world.

apparently Lisa has a fair amount of travel in front of her..............
