Please help--rare Damien Live
 

I lost my boyfriend's live Damien Rice cd this weekend and am frantic.I'm not sure the place--the first track starts out where he's singing "I don't Know" over and over.He tells a story on this album about meeting a girl in a pub and he falls hard for her and just as he's about to say something her boyfriend walks in to the pub and he wrote the song right then and there.The song is on O---could someone help me find it? I have trades and can work out something for you---thanks!

Well that song is "cheers darlin' i think!! but as for the Bootleg im not sure? Somebody will know on here!!

well it's going to be almost impossible to find i'd say to be honest....gig that starts with the professor and includes cheers darlin'.......we're probably going to need more information to be honest....you could always ask your boyfriend and tell him that the nice people on here will make sure that he gets a copy

i think i might have narrowed it down --after looking at the track list since it also has hallelujah--opening with professor---and also cheers darling--10/2/2002 might be the show

his was on one disc(so the 2 discs may not be the shows)--HOWEVER if anyone has any of these --please let me know and i will offer trades,blanks, etc.thanks!!

Damien's infamous birthday gig, the first of a 3 night slot with the full band in the Olympia. Guest appearances by Terry Sutton & Declan O'Rourke. For those who weren't present, Damien consumes an entire bottle of wine during Cheers Darlin' - The collective gasp of the audience results from Damien throwing his birthday cake in Lisa's face at the climax of the song. There then follows a pretty drunken unplugged ensemble rendition of Heaven Belongs To You, featuring Lisa on lead vocal, Damien on ukelele, Vyvienne on Cello and the backing singers of Tomo, Shane, Terry, Declan and Kathryn Williams and her band (the support act).
