Damien back at Beacon Theatre in NYC Jan 27th for Joan Baez

Anyone thinking about going?

http://www.musictimes.com/articles/5...ris-indigo.htm

A better question would be... will he do a surprise gig anywhere?

Shillelagh 12-13-2015 03:57 PM

That's my birthday!

Lys 01-14-2016 12:35 AM

Sweet! Could be a nice show. Do they know each other? I have no idea?

cookienator 01-24-2016 08:43 AM

They're going to air the full show as an episode on PBS' Great Performances. It says Spring/Summer 2016 though, so who knows when that could be.

Van the Man's version

But the evening featured far more stellar performances than missteps. Prior to performing "She Moves Through the Fair" with Rice, she said, "I knew that if anyone could drag an Irish ballad out of me, it would be this man" -- their rendition, with him on harmonium, was haunting.

borneoman 01-30-2016 10:23 AM

^you were there? how was it?

borneoman 01-30-2016 10:24 AM

how great would it be if he decided to make a traditional irish music record! at least, an ep. he totally has the spirit and the voice, imho. i know iŽd love it.

Shillelagh 05-23-2016 10:00 PM

Like Van did! That would be epic. Maybe invite Glen and Lisa to contribute.
