Was anyone lucky enough to go the show or know what he played?
I only knew there was a show through the instagram feed.

With the drummer Earl Harvin.

I was incredible lucky to be there!:angel7:
I was on the phone with my old mom, when my girlfriend told me that he´ll be at the Michelberger Hotel in one hour (2 years ago I just stood outside on the street trying to get a glimpse through the window). Our departure resembled a rocket launch, i don´t think I´ve been that fast out of my apartment ever (still have to apologize to my mother later).
And I still can´t believe that I managed to stand right in front of him.:hello2:
We were told not to film the show, or we could listen the rest from the outside, so I only have a snippet as video (Kiss/Prince), but I tried to record it with my phone sticking out of my pocket (will have a listen to it later, no idea if it worked). But a guy from the Hotel filmed it and told me, they will put some songs on their website.

I don't think he did 'kiss' before, Chrys, i remember that he did 'when doves cry' a looooong time ago, but not 'kiss'

Don't tell me you've never heard the Face/Kiss medley... Damien says something like Now Im gonna play you a bit of my favourite dance song ;)

When Doves Cry he does it more often with this medley with Babe Im Gonna Leave You, which he used to interpolate into I Remember all the time... he aldo did it the other day in SFO... there is also a full radio version of When Doves Cry that he did for Triple J in Australia, out even on CD

I don't know if it was because it was a smaller venue, or the fact that he played with a drummer, but I love how he let himself go and jammed/improvised a bit, like when he toured in 2007.
Would love to hear/see some gig on this tour with a full band.
