They've been very open about their relationship from their meeting when she was 13 on, so I don't think they're hiding anything. He was her mentor, coaching her to have more confidence, etc.

Actually when there stopped being glances like that between the two of them, was when The Swell season got really sad.

I think he saw what a beautiful woman she was to become, a "flower yet to blossom", and kind of selfishly kept her to himself. I mean I would be quite swept up by him too if he took such an interest in me! Beautiful music came out of it, but I think he should have let her become her own person before placing such a hold on her. I admit he did help her come out of her shell, but 15 is just a wee bit young to be sweeping someone off their feet, and from what I see in that video they were very much in love at that time.

This post is amazing to look back on and track the evolution of Glen's music and the growth of his fame. Couldn't be happier for him. He's earned every bit of it.

I remember seeing Damien at The Vic in Chicago and recognizing the opener but couldn't place him. It wasn't he closed his set with Star Star that it hit me that I had seen him at Lolla that summer and he was the band I had been looking everywhere to find and couldn't figure out who it was. Small crazy world.
