Got 2 tickets to go on 4th, but none of my friends seem interested in Damien Rice. Does anyone here want to go with me?

Which session are u going to? I got tickets for both days at 18h.I would love to get for 22h too. I will be in Iceland on 3th november.

The ticket is for the 22h session, but would be would prefer to give it to someone who has tried to get tickets and failed and wouldn't be able to go otherwise.

Hey there! I'd love to buy that ticket! I tried to get tickets for both days, but could only get for one show, they sold out in a second. But if you want to sell it to someone who didn't get any at all, I understand.

If i was going in for some minor eye surgery on Nov 3rd I'd be there. :(

You are getting this email as you are one of those traveling from abroad for the open recording sessions with Damien Rice in Iceland.

The location of the sessions will be revealed via text messages to ticket holders on the day of the sessions.

As you are propably not that familiar with the great Reykjavik area and might have roaming problems with your phones then we will do it like this with you guys to be on the safe side:

A taxi will take you all together to the location.

You need to gather at Skifan Record store on Laugavegur 26 to make the taxi who takes off on the times below.

You will pay the taxi driver so pls. have cash available. The trip one way will be 5.000 ISK.

Wednesday Nov 4:

Takeoff at 16:40 for the session starting at 18:00

Takeoff at 20:50 for the session starting at 22:00

Thursday Nov 5:

Takeoff at 16:40 for the session starting at 18:00

Takeoff at 20:50 for the session starting at 22:00

The taxi driver will know how many will be going on each trip so he want leave without doing a propper headcount.

The venue requires you to sit on a concrete floor so dress accordingly and if you have a small pillow or cushon bring it with you.

Pls. remember that all phones, handhelds, cameras, recording devices etc. will not be allowed.

Pls. respond to me that you have recevied this email as this arrangement will be the only way for you to get to the location!"

wow, how exciting!!! taking a taxi to drive you to a secret location to see Damien live :)

Isn't it so exciting??? Damien is really a susprises box!! These people are so nice! I asked them to keep my bag with my camera and mobile so I can use it before and after the sessions and they will help me with that ;-) I'm really pleased with this....feels really cozy.

So exciting! Can't wait to hear all about it. Full report please!!

A majestical grass fairyland was what I was picturing before, now I think of a bare warehouse!
