I figure this will get chatter when it's going to air on tv, so for my fellow New York area eskimos, you can enter to win a pair of tickets here for a show in Brooklyn on November 24: http://artistsden.com/damienrice/

I've been to two Live from the Artists Den shows, both in churches. It's always a stunning experience. Fingers crossed for win number three, and if anyone on here wins and needs a +1, it can always be coordinated here too.

I just entered a little while ago too. If I win, I'll probably have an extra to take someone. If someone wins and needs a partner, I would love to go as well!

Trying to figure out where it will take place... Bell House? Living Room? The Paper Box? He played the Box in Manhattan, why not keep with the theme?! ;)

The shows are almost never in traditional venues. I wouldn't be surprised if it's another church or temple.

Oh, I know. The National was at The Armory, Soundgarden was at The Wiltern in LA. IIRC, Death Cab was at The Brooklyn Museum.

They shot a Cage the Elephant session recently and said it would air in early 2015, so yeah, I think so.

No i just realized it will be next week. I thought it was this Monday after the letterman recording.
I'm in town this Monday but not available during the day I could have make it for an evening show

They're offering another chance to win tickets by creating a work of art inspired by his lyrics. If only I could come up with an artistic twist by the 20th.

I'm not sure how many winners there will be. I imagine it has to do with the capacity of the space and the guest list. There were a lot of celebrities at the Rufus Wainwright show.

The original email said there would be extra opportunities from their sponsors, and Samsung is just one of four listed. I don't know if there will be contests from the other three, but it's possible.

Nope, I got no confirmation of entering or getting on the email list.

Nope, no confirmation emails sent. If you didn't get the Samsung contest email, I'd say try to sign up through the normal site. They often do offers to let one person win travel as well as tickets, so that's something to keep an eye out for.
