Tickets arrived yet?
I know that Ticketmaster say that tkts may not be despatched until closer to the gig, but my last few purchases from there (in fact, come to think of it, every online purchase there) i've received a couple of days after buying....but I'm yet to have received my Damien Vicar Street tickets. Was just wondering if anyone else has yet, or should I start to worry?
A few years back my tickets failed to show that I had bought directly from DRM and I had a LOT of trouble trying to convince them I hadnt received them. Got let in in the end, although it was down to the night as to whether we would get in or not. Tickets showed up 3 months after the gig!!!! |
I have never received Ticketmaster tickets sooner than about two weeks before the event date.

I haven't had mine yet... I hope I do - my postie is a right one!

no mine havent come, i was getting worried, at least im not on my own
|
Me neither, I was just thinking about that actually... I'm sure they'll show up eventually.
|
It seems that depending on the demand for tickets it takes longer for them to sell out, I bought a ticket for a gig 2 days before I bought the Damien tickets and it arrived late last week (I've occasionally recieved my tickets the day after too).
I think that it's a combination of the fact that it takes a while to process all the orders and to send them out en masse and the fact taht ti's a sell out which means that sending them out late stops people from touting them. Of course people who didn't buy the tickets on-line aren't affected by that. |
My tickets arrived in the post this morning.
|
I got my tickets for the tuesday show, the wednesday one's probably haven't been printed or posted... either that or I have one crafty postman.
|
as long as we have our confirmation sheets saying we actually bought them it'll be fine.
|
I can't live in conformation with some confirmation sheet. Can you imagine the consternation if I were forced into a confrontation with the postal confederation. Perhaps a conflation between the confirmation and some confection would conduct their confabulation to conform with my concerns and their conceivable consequences. If not the otherwise conservable connection won't be conciliable. Unless the confederation is either caringly conversable or constantly confessable. Crowd of clever c*nts that they are.

Pinky English; I don't like the idea of that, I hate dealing with the post office... Maybe if I bribe them with chocolate they'd help me out :smiley36: if not i'm never going near the post office again, unless they sorted me out or something. The meaneys.

btw has my letter arrived yet.
thank you for the pinky english |
Aye, and Aye.

I'm located in Liverpool, England and I haven't had my tickets yet for the Tuesday show - has anyone from the UK had tickets arrive from ticketmaster yet?

I'd say they would have all been posted out yesterday, give it a few days.
