This did! :D
Real pity that it isn't actually him, but it made me smile nonetheless. hehe. |
Yesterday I found a glorious mock orange shrub covered with bumble bees. I tried to take some pictures with my vintage macro lens.
At first they were a bit wary of me, but after a while they seemed to accept me as part of the decor. Watching them was wonderful, like entering a whole new world. It seemed to really calm me down too. I live and work in the city and I get to see a lot of buildings and cars, but not a lot of nature. So finding these little bits of green in the middle of all that is always special to me. |
^ nice :)
iīm at the airport waiting to fly back to ireland :hello2: |
Safe travels! :)
|
Don't die
|
iīm safe :D thanks guys!
the lady at immigration told me "welcome back"... the best welcome ever! |
Happy for you, V!
|
Yay! :)
|
I quit my job yesterday! It made me sick because of bad management, even a bit of bullying from my boss, waited far too long. I don't have a plan b yet, but had to get out of there in order to not break down completely. Go me. Oh yeah, and was in the audience for a live chat with John Parish yesterday. Nice bloke, very inspiring. That's it :D
|
Good for you, Cille!
It takes courage to do that. Your sanity is worth more than any job. |
Congrats Cille!! You will make it work :)
|
bravo, cille! it does take courage. now, with it you can get anywhere... just take your time to feel better and to enjoy some lazyness ;)

My big dream is actually, well apart from playing music full-time, to work in a nice little local cafe down the street that sells quality coffee and vinyl albums. I am sick of office work and corporate BS, literally sick... |
so, does this cafe exist? if so, is there any chance for you? first of all, i hope you get better soon and secondly, i keep my fingers crossed for you, cille.
as for me, melissaīs post made smile, it really did. thanks again :) |

Cool! :)
|
I promised myself once that I would never do another exam. ( I used to have terrible fear of failure) Today I broke that promise and took a test without any panic.
(I think I did quite well.) |
Yay. you! ^

The other night I dreamt that Damien got a baby elephant, one of those cute furry ones. But then he had to resell it cause he figured it was too big to have as a pet anyway, and he was afraid it would lay on him by accident.
|
^this made me giggle :)
|
I'm going to see Eels (and a bunch of other cool bands) at the naked song festival (in the Netherlands) this Saturday! Woohoo!
|
I didn't know this guy, but I really liked his little gig at the naked song festival.
