The 'experts' that BBC had on didn't like her... they seem to only like hard rock... The host Lauren seemed to be a fan though. I really want her to win now just to show up those two idio... sorry, 'experts'.

srahman24 09-08-2009 09:18 PM

^ I know! Were they listening to the same performance/album that we've been listening to? They're all insane, clearly.

Wheels 09-08-2009 09:20 PM

Here we go people... hold your breath...

srahman24 09-08-2009 09:21 PM

I'm so nervous for her!

eva_arg 09-08-2009 09:23 PM

srahman24 09-08-2009 09:24 PM

Aw. Damn. Can we create our own EskimoFriends Best 2009 album award and hand that to her?

borneoman 09-08-2009 09:25 PM

Speech Wtf? It's the only name I'd never heard before... clueless!!!!! :(

That was conditional on the wardrobe malfunction...

cestoz 09-08-2009 10:29 PM

was won by "speech debelle"

one of the analysts for the tele coverage, nihal siwhaney i wont even bother correctly typing his name, was very dismissive of lisa at the start, but from the coverage she seemed to enjoy herself and clapped genuinely enthusiastically at the end..

will be interesting to see how her album sales are affected by her performance and nomination in the next couple of weeks

congratulations on the nomination lisa! xx

verenita 09-09-2009 12:30 AM

i completly missed it. i guess it doensīt matter now.
well, i donīt give a damn on awards, so i didnīt care if they didnīt win it. i mean, it doesnīt make the record even better, does it? ok, i hope i can catch her performance, so i can keep my big mouth shut before one of you kill me (i donīt know how, but i guess you can find a way :D)

ju02 09-09-2009 12:48 AM

Lisa she doesn't need a Mercury, she is Venus in person. (∩īн`*∩)

RonjaGirl 09-09-2009 01:23 AM

Here an interview with Lisa before the show...

verenita 09-09-2009 01:24 AM

i was about to post the same. i was looking for her performance though.

srahman24 09-09-2009 01:51 AM

Cali 09-09-2009 02:16 AM

verenita 09-09-2009 02:30 AM

On the BBC performance, fast forward to 1:53..

Another pic from last night
