Years ago on the forum somebody posted these beautiful vintage, sepia-tinted pictures of Van Morrison, because of his physical resemblance to Damien. There was a long haired woman (his then wife Janet, I think) with him in the pictures, and everyone was like: "Oh look, Van's got his own Lisa!"

Apparently it *is* that photo shoot... I found the original post by Wheels, and it's from 2005! I love the Igloo archives :). Don't know why I remember the pictures being sepia coloured, though... it was a long time ago, maybe that's why.

I'm not saying they are alike, they have completely different sensibility, but I think there's something in that smile (and a beard) that reminded me of Damien's smile...

Damien last year = the guy from Homeland when rescued in Irak... for those who've never watched, it's the story of an American soldier, saved after being prisoner for 8 years in a cell... and funnily he could pass for Damien's clone :p

Ok wasn't there talk about that this look was for a role or something? HOMELAND SEASON 2 Y'ALL! They find Damien taken hostage by the Ira or something, and we spend the season wondering if he is a terrorist himself. I expect surprise/twist ending.

In season 3 they find Robin Pecknold post-shave/haircut, cause nobody recognizes him like that so they suspect he's a terrorist infiltrating the Seattle folk scene. Twist: He's really an agent infiltrating the Seattle folk scene, whilst writing very deep-felt folky stuff.

The funniest part is that actor's first name is Damian.

gotta agree with the Michael fassbender one, as they have a very very slight similarity, if anyone has seen Jane Eyre, the last scene with fassbender fully bearded could have been damo... I have to add Jeremy Davies (Lost, Rescue Dawn, Justified) on the list and Davydenko. Ha!
