What does it mean "in the wrong city"? what does it mean to be in the wrong city? Only thing i can come up with is she feels the city she is in, isnt for her, or is old and boring. But that doesnt make sense considering the lyrics seem to suggest she is lost in life and then meets this guy, in the city. Which would make it seem like in that context she'd love the city, right?

It could just be that she was on tour.

I think it is meant to be waking up somewhere different to where you intended or expected after a heavy night of drinking /partying
