Wanted:Vicar Street Tickets

Hey there, not unlike many other fans im scavenging the net,
emmett pointed me in this direction, i'm just looking to see if anyone's got any tickets for this Damien gig for sale?

administrator 07-24-2006 07:38 PM

hey... I'd be really grateful if anyone could help Cake out, if you have spares... thanks!

rosey 07-24-2006 07:50 PM

I have a spare for 30th as no-one wants to come with me.......I know, I'm going to die a sad and lonely old woman surrounded only by thousands of old copies of 'The People's Friend' .....sniff :(

Anyway ......PM me if you're interested.

Beevers_uk 07-24-2006 07:53 PM

Awwww, i'll be your friend!

administrator 07-24-2006 07:58 PM

thanks rosey, i'll let her know

Brian Bass 07-25-2006 09:32 AM

hey i would be rediculously grateful for the ticket!!

Bumpman 07-25-2006 11:15 AM

Then buy one, Road Records are still selling them...

Brian Bass 07-25-2006 11:36 AM

nope sold out!

insane_lorraine 07-25-2006 11:42 AM

does anyone know where i can pick up 2 tickets for either of the dublin shows?! i tried but they had sold out. :crybaby2: id be forever in your debt!!

Brian Bass 07-25-2006 11:43 AM

however,i completely agree that Mic Christopher is great!itts a very good album

Bumpman 07-25-2006 12:32 PM

Oh, sorry about that. I don't really know what to tell you then other then; I hope you got tickets to the electric picnic. There's just so many people looking for tickets to Vicar Street, I really couldn't imagine where you'd get any. Everyone who has them will pretty much be holding on to them for dear life, unless you buy them from eBay that is. It really depends on just how much you want to go.

Brian Bass 07-25-2006 12:46 PM

nope i dont,i went to oxegen instead, but id really love to see damo, and devendra!..among others

Bumpman 07-25-2006 01:58 PM

I don't know if Picnic tickets will be any easier to come across... I suppose they will considering that there's 25,000 of them as opposed to 800 Vicar St tickets (per night). I guess you just have to keep looking.

Miss Pink 07-25-2006 02:42 PM

the picnic is sold out bumpy

Bumpman 07-25-2006 02:47 PM

Yeah, I know... but it still might be easier to get one of 25,000 sold-out tickets then one of 1,600 sold-out tickets...

Miss Pink 07-25-2006 03:28 PM

always have to be the know-it-all dont you sean?

never talking to you again

Bumpman 07-25-2006 05:04 PM

Yeah, I know...

Siobhan 08-01-2006 12:30 PM

Desperate for tickets

Please please please does anyone know where I can get tickets for Vicar St gigs???
I'm trying everything but unfortunately don't have €200 for tickets!

Bumpman 08-01-2006 01:11 PM

I honestly couldn't imagine that you'd be able to find them outside of ebay now. Everyone's looking for them, but there's only 800 for each night...

Greenmeanie 08-01-2006 03:16 PM

To be honest, I think people should be a bit miffed he's only doing two proper dates in Ireland (not counting EP), and as yet *none* in the rest of British Isles/Europe. I know I am.

Ah, whatever. Why would he play off the coast of mainland wicklow. Anyway, do you know what we're a bit miffed about? Less then ten Irish appearances since '03... He's toured europe and america extensively, but he hasn't done an irish tour since '02.

yeah, i think that is pretty uncool too... i mean he is irish... go play for your homland fans!!! but i'm not complaining too much... i just saw him this summer

Bumpman 08-01-2006 05:28 PM

Well, it doesn't really upset me too much, I mean i've gotten enough chances to see him. But i'm sure some people would have appreciated a second leg of the irish tour, but it just never happened, whereas there was about eight runs in the states. It doesn't really get to me until someone says "Hey damien, i've been a fan for fifty years, you don't play in utah enough". Bloody utah.

If anyone is still looking for a ticket (standing for 30th) - I have one available, again. The person who was going to take it has ignored my PMs, despite appearing online, and so I can only assume that she has changed her mind.

If anyone would like it, PM me please.

Cake 08-17-2006 08:15 PM

Sorry Roesy, sent you a PM a min ago, wasnt ignoring your messages, just couldnt get online to reply...im really really really sorry though.....thanks for giving me a chance to go anyway....hope you sell the ticket, im sure you will though.
