I have a 2CDR set of the Vicar St show on Monday night to trade. It was recorded using CSB Microphones and a Sony PCM-M1 DAT from the left of the soundboard at the rear of the venue. Unfortunately "Hallelujah" is practically inaudible as Damien did not use the microphone. Otherwise I'm happy with the recording. I'm looking to trade for other Damien Rice shows. Ialready have: 09/02/02 The Lobby, Cork (1CD) 09/12/02 The Olympia, Dublin(2CD) Cheers, Anthony akelly@eircom.net |
i sent you an email

thank you Anthony! :-) can you share it on SharingTheGroove.org? So people can get it with a torrent.. or using the two ftp.. All Damien' shows are downloadable on the ftps (orwith torrents).. luigi |
uploading that show onto the ftp would be great...can you give us a set list?

Right folks, we made a recording on Monday night too. We were in the front row, so I don't know how the sound will compare with Anthony's (Hallelujah is fairly quiet in ours as well), but I just thought I'd let ye know to see if I can get a few trades out of it before I get round to putting it on FTP. Not looking for any more Rice but I'll consider anything else folks might offer.

Thanks to all who replied to my post via email or PM. All copies are going in the post tomorrow. Here is the info for my recording. Damien Rice Vicar St, Dublin, Ireland 2 February 2004 CSB ->Sony PCM-M1 ->Cool Edit 2000 ->CD Wave Audio Editor ->Nero 6.3.0.0 Disc 1 (1:18:44)
Disc 2 (27:50)
NOTES: Recorded to the left of the soundboard at the rear of the venue. Disc 1 Tracks 7 and 11 are between song chat by Damien Disc 2 Track 1 is pre song chat by Vivienne Disc 2 track 6 is played by Damien without the use of the microphone. As a result it is very difficult to hear on the recording. I have amplified the track but in doing so there is additional "hiss/noise" in the recording. DO NOT ENCODE TO A LOSSY FORMAT e.g. MP3 DO NOT SELL – FOR TRADE ONLY |
Anthony, i didnt get those cd's in the post until today. Sorry about that, but they went out in this mournings post so you should have them by tomorrow the earliest. I got your cd's in the post today. Thanks mate! If you've any other shows (not just Damo's) for trade let me know. |
