Hey, i just looked at the eskimo friend page at university and I realised that the avatars and emoticons are moving (dynamic). this is really nice. But I wonder how is itpossible that at home these were very static with me? Is there a preference wrong in my explorer settings? Please help, I would like to have animated avatars at home......

go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab (across the top)


Scroll down to the Multimedia settings


"Play animations in Web Pages"should be ticked.

some firewall programs can stop animations working aswell. That freeware one that was going around last year used to cause that problem.. can't think of the name of it at the moment.
