A brazilian newspaper said that Damien is going to play in Rio de Janeiro next January. Does abyone knows if that is truth? And, if it is, do you know in what cities he is going to play?

Could be true.. He said somewhere that they were thinking of starting the tour in south america.. And I don't think any gigs at all have been announced for january.. Have they?

It sounds very likely that he will be touring in South America (presumably including Brazil) in January.

I know there are a lot of Damien fans across South America so I hope it's true!

He did do the bossa nova songs for "Goldfish Memory". I have always loved bossa nova, even before I knew about Damien Rice, so when i found out he sang "desafinado" and "waters of march" i loved him even more.
At the Summerstage Concert he did with Fiona Apple, a fan of Fiona's who came from Colombia made a booklet about facts from Colombia, purchased a frog plush toy, and attached the booklet along with a flute to the stuffed animal, and while Apple was on stage after performing her song she had someone hand it to her it onstage. I saw the booklet, it essentially said "please come to colombia" lol. That made me especially happy because both my parents are from there, so perhaps she shared the info with her tourmate and now thanks to that girl's information pack he knows a lot about us and will be doing a show there haha.
