They're touring with David Bowie, so any Bowie + Spree fans...catch 'em today!

Oh, and that movie...Eternal Sunshine of the Spotty Mind or something...they feature the Spree..(whee!) Can't wait for that to come out on DVD.

Isaw them in Central Park last summer and although the music wasn't quite my cup of tea, they put on a mesmerizing show. At one point the lead singer did some sort of happy-type invocation for the weather to get interesting, and right at that moment the wind picked up and it was quite freaky, but in a good way. Much like the Spree. :) Hope to see them again this summer at Lollapalooza.

i first heard them on scrubs last week..

a few days later i had the album, and it is EXCELLENT!

its great cause most new music these days is all self centered depressing stuff...(not to name any names here! ;p)

but the spree are really uplifting and happy, tis great!

Trent Reznor is actually listening to them...are they really that good? Which song can you recommend?

Livo 05-19-2004 04:39 PM

"Soldier Girl" and "Light and Day" are two of my favourites. "Hanging Around" and "It's the Sun" are also very good.

Soldier girl and hanging around are my faves
