As I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else yet:
Damien's playing a show in Winterthur, Switzerland on August 23.

Not sure, but it looks like it isn't seated. take a look at the pics on the website.
seems to be an open air festival.

i've been following this Forum for some time now. :wave: I had registered but it was not letting me post anything until now.
it's been great seeing all these updates and news about Damien and thanks to this post i'll be making a trip to Switzerland to see him (it will be my first time). I cannot contain my excitement!! :smiley4:

I haven't been there before, but it looks really nice.

It's free for any eskimo regular or anyone that really wants to go but can't afford a ticket.
I bought it for my boyfriend, but he can't go. (actually, he doesn't want to :) )

yes i saw some of the pics from the festival website and looks quite nice. i had to email them because i couldn't understand a thing from their website; google translate wasn't of much help :'(
I wasn't sure if i would ever see him live or if he would even release another album, so that was something i set myself to do this year :D.
i guess now that he's releasing a new album all of us will get a change to see him live (hopefully more than once :D)

Does anyone know this festival? Do they check for cameras (dslr+medium size lens) at the entrance? I would love to be able to take some decent pics...

i havent been to the winterthur festival before, but its an in-town Open Air Festival. Usually there aren't security checks on such things. Fingers Crossed...

I am already there. Damn the city is small and the plaza where he's playing is even smaller. Tonight's artists performance begin at 7pm and there is only 2 people queuing.

I just arrived in Winterthur. (Had a nice day on mount Rigi and ended up in the little park in in Lucerne where Damien played after the blue balls gig last year (big smile))
Can't wait to go check out this little town. No festival for me today, though.
I'll be hanging 'round town all day tomorrow. So if anyone wants to grab coffee or something, just send me a PM. I'll check my mailbox.
