Off the top of my head and totally out of order, he definitely played Face (amazing request, even if he only remembered about 70% of it), Older Chests, Coconut Skins, Woman Like a Man, Elephant, Colour Me In, Trusty and True, The Greatest Bastard, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, The Box, and The Blower's Daughter (unplugged, in the dark, standing on a chair). His set was nearly two hours with two encores. Night and day difference between crowds compared to last night, but I'm very grateful to have seen both.
I'll post some photos tomorrow. Tired and cold. I'm so glad that I got a chance to meet a few of you after the show. It was honestly a perfect way to end the whole experience. |

absolutely amazing show!!! Cannot believe he played Colour Me In, beautiful beautiful song!!! I´m upping the video to yt right now :) Got many others that I can up tomorrow. Trusty & True was also a surprise, was amazing, like 10 minutes long!
and we got Face and Then Go!!! Amazing!! the drummer that played at Whelans was also there for 4 songs (from Change You to MFFF) was funny when Damo played the last songs standing on a chair so that the people at the back could see!! really a perfect show, the best oldies, some rare oldies and 5 from the new album! |
Colour Me In, think it´s still processing but should be up soon

i´m keeping myself away from the very new ones, in case, luckily enough, he decides to play them in dublin as well... but i´m glad to read they are good :) thanks for all that you shared, everybody, and i´m happy for each of you... dawno, that pic says it all, thanks! let´s see how this tour keeps going. who says a wrong start is a bad omen? |
Color/Colour me in is beautiful!!! I actually teared up a bit. Also played Trusty and True! I didn't record but can't wait for them to be posted for everyone! Great vibe again but not as conversational. Funky drummer played with him. He was quirky and very good. He just left out the back door on stage to go to another thing across town. Hilarious!
Met such awesome fellow fans/Eskimos. Such a great group of people! Thank you, Damien and fans (the civil ones) for an amazing 3 days! |
absolutely amazing setlist!!!
must have been a completely different gig to what he uses to do. Gosh hopefully someone with a decent taping rig made a recording :O Thanks for Colour me in :) |

2 minute clip of The Box last night.

If everyone could post the raw un-youtubed downloadable versions of these videos that would be amazing either via public Dropbox link, mega or any other method.
I have the full show audio in really good quality from last night that I will have available in the next day or two. I'm on the train back to Boston listening to it as I type this. What a show! -Mike |
I still can't believe we got most of the new album last night. It was such a cool experience. We didn't get much banter, but what we did was fascinating. I loved that he stood on a chair because he said he wasn't the tallest himself and knew what it was like to be stuck in a crowd. That was totally my experience at Warsaw.
I just got a new camera last month, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of taking decent shots with it. I've uploaded a few of my best below, but the whole album's here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/216213...7648849396582/ https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3954/...12f84fdb58.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5603/...4190810a12.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3947/...4af344b750.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3932/...6bb1ed9fdd.jpg |
The show was awesome, all the old and rare songs were great to hear live.
Even though I waited over 2 hours in an New York City alley after the show to meet him and didn't, I was happy to meet some Eskimos from far and near. Casey, Kristen, Marti, Steven/Stefan, Liz and her daughter Sarah, Arizona Matt and his wife Cheratin(who reads but doesn't post, but should). It was great to share stories with all of you. Till next we meet. :icon_kidr:hello2::smiley32::hello2: |

amazing pics!!!thanks for sharing!!! :icon_pray it was such a great night!!! the set was amazing!! definitely better than the night at the warsaw when it came to the crowd. We got there a bit late so for half of the show I was only able to see a bunch of heads in front of me :( my boyfriend and I were waiting for him once the show ended, we were at the entrance of the Box . After reading that some of you were waiting for him at the back entrance I think we might have spoken with one of you. We waited for a good bid and then ended up just going home. hope you guys were able to meet him :) |
Fantastic Pics!!!!!

I was the one you spoke to Renata. Nice meeting you. We had no luck waiting either. We all left around midnight.
