I met up with Ian before the gig, for a minute. But was with my mates for the gig. We were standing more or less in the middle. Probably closer to the door at the back.

The gang were near enough to you, from where they told me they were standing. I met up with them after the gig, when everyone was clearing out.

o my god i saw ye! i was walking out afterwards (the exit door to the right of the stage, fairly late the place had emptied out) and the same group of peops that i thought might have been eskimo friends were walking out too, they were looking back for Aisling and talking about how they couldn't wait for the Galway gig, freaky!!

yep i saw you darragh [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img] , doubt any of ye'll remember me but i was wearing a denim skirt, beige snow boots, brown chord coat, long blonde hair tied up in a pony tail, i was right in between the gang of ye when ye were walking out, there were 3 girls in fron of me and a group of fellas and another girl behind me...i remember one fella saying he had to get up at 6.45 am this morning and thats why he wasn't going for a drink! jaysus i cant believe i picked ye out [img]smileys/smiley16.gif[/img]

we had to drive back down to limerick again after the gig so we couldn't go out, altho my feet were so tired from standing i dont think i would have been able to drink anyway, got back about 3am which wasn't so bad,
i took photos but havn't gotten them developed yet

Yeah, super gig. Great to hear Face and Tongue, his version of Eve... isn't a patch on Bell X1's though. If the second album is going to be the angry loud one then its going to be great.

Everyone that got one should listen to Aisling's present, it sounds great, I find it interesting that most of her favourite versions of the songs are in the main Lisaless.

That's because she's so horny, it's funny and terrifying all at once.

We were outside Vicar St from 3 onwards, which was kinda fun, and hence was the first in the cue and the first into the room, got a candle from Lisa just before Eskimo and sayed front row centre all night. Damien got quite pissed off towards the end i reckon... bit of a sh*tty crowd really.

Yeah guys, i had a brilliant night, it was brilliant being able to put faces to names after all this time. Everyone was so nice and friendly and i think we all seemed genuinely excited to be there.


It was amazing seeing Damien, as i hadn't seen him before, but meeting a handful of eskimos really made the trip down from newry totally worth it-----hope all the limerick ones got home safe and sound!


Hopefully see yis all again sometime!!
