Very intrigued to see how extensive this tour will be. I ended up being really unfortunate and not being able to go to any gigs this time around so might try and attend a few to make up for it :)

in one of the interviews he did last week he said he was gonna do a world tour but that it was not gonna be massive like the 9 tour and that he wants to combine studio time and tour time without too much focus on one only...

hope it's next year's tour!!! :D

He did say at the end of the Chicago show on Friday that he would see us on the next tour in the spring.

I'm super excited about a "world tour". I just hope his Italian date is in a nice venue this time...
Anyway, this means that tickets will go on sale shortly and I don't have much money at the moment... damn!

If the special announcement is not the world tour, could not be that Lisa is going to sing again with him? Would that be too much to hope for?

Just looked up Cal State Northridge and noticed a town called Camarillo nearby.

Some interesting facts from Wikipedia, with possible Damien connections, in case there's ever conspiracy theory-type, biopic documentary:
The well used in the film The Ring is also located in Camarillo. (IDWTCY video?)

Camarillo is sometimes mentioned in literature because of the mental hospital once located there. In Jack Kerouac's The Dharma Bums, he mentions a place "...somewhere near Camarillo where Charlie Parker'd been mad and relaxed back to normal health" (The Dharma Bums, 1). (Close to Malibu!)

Frank Zappa referred to the city in his 1973 song "Camarillo Brillo". The city's name is mispronounced so as to rhyme with the second word in the song's title. (Damien also mispronounces it!)

Yea something doesnt add up. The shows havent shown up on ticketmaster yet either.

This is about par for the course of ticket sales throughout his career.

The shows on the tour page are up. All the shows are in the US(and Toronto)
Sorry Europe hopefully there will be shows there in May.

Why doesn't he come to Western Canada :(. Toronto is a five hour flight away. Looks like we'll be going to Seattle then! My very first Damien Rice concert, can't wait!

I'm guessing he'll play Europe over the summer.

As excited as I am at another chance to see him, I am starting to doubt we'll get tickets to this show; even with such a big venue in Chicago I about puked that they were going on presale TOMORROW with almost no warning time! Yikes! I am in no way prepared for that.
