First Confirmation? Lisa works on Solo-LP

I was at the Concert in Hamburg, Germany and after a brilliant Show, even with the drummer of Shakira (wtf), Me and a friend of mine waited in front of the Busses.

The Guitar-Player of Damien (damn I forgot the name), appeared outside. I asked hiom for an autograph. And then it came out of my mouth:
"by the way, d'you know what lisa is actually doing at the moment"
he answered:
"She's doing her record right now. Pretty nice stuff"
or so.
I am happy, cant wait to hear it

Lady 07-24-2007 10:33 PM

Oh dear, it starts.

Cali 07-24-2007 10:34 PM

you mean joel shaerer?
wait ... the drummer of shakira played with the band? ha ha

Joel.. yeah thats what his autograph looks like.

Yeah, so it seems. I met some girl in front of the door, she told me, she just came the way from holland to see him.

cille 07-24-2007 10:44 PM

so.. the drummer of pedestrian (now temping for tomo) has also played w shakira, is that correctly understood?

Lady 07-24-2007 10:46 PM

Shakira's drummer is filling in whilst Tom is tempoirarialy (you know what i mean) away.

i have no idea what his name is but his breasts are small and humble so we don't confuse them with mountains.

mariaoran 07-24-2007 10:55 PM

... and his hips definately don't lie! ;)

Very awesome to hear that Lisa will be coming out with solo material! very exiting stuff.

Cheers!

Van Gericke 07-24-2007 10:57 PM

Oh could, btw, someone do me a favour and send me the paul noonan feat. lisa live thing? email is:

erikschulze [at] hotmail [dot] de

thanks :P

LaurenM 07-24-2007 11:45 PM

i look forward to lisas album immensely. i wil buy it the second it comes out and would love to go to one of her shows. defenitely one of my favourite artists.

Nine 07-25-2007 01:16 AM

Ok ok ok - to clear up the drummer thing: Tomo went away for a bit. Blair from Pedestrian (Joel's band) filled in for a while. Now, a new drummer, who has in the past drummed for Shakira, is filling in. I forget his name :)

Hasn't Damien been saying for yonks that Lisa's hope recording solo stuff?

Thanks for letting us know, though - hope you enjoyed the show x

elephantintheroom 07-25-2007 03:29 AM

Wait, is Tomo coming back??

cille 07-25-2007 08:07 AM

^as far as we know, yes.
So how's it working with this new new drummer? Cause it felt like Blair was just getting into things, I wonder what it's like to start over again with a new drummer.

Lin@ 07-25-2007 10:00 AM

I've seen Brendan play in Luzern and Stuttgart and thought he was really, really good. Most people certainly couldn't tell that he was new to the band.

So, one could say that Shakira's got taste. :smiley2:

what did this girl look like cause when i was in luzern there was also a girl from holland waiting for shakira's drummer...stalker?

Nine 07-25-2007 12:54 PM

Brendan, that's it.

Yeah, Shane said T was just back in Ireland for a bit of a rest, and was coming back :)

Calum 07-25-2007 02:57 PM

What i want to know is, how do all of you get to talk to all of the band all the time? It might just be my laziness... but really!

Ewwa 07-25-2007 02:59 PM

It´s only patience and a bit of luck I guess....

Calum 07-25-2007 03:04 PM

And where to wait? The bus if you can find it?

Van Gericke 07-25-2007 03:47 PM

Yep, just look somewhere near the back of the stage or stuff like that. Soon you'll find 2 Busses from Ireland.
There you'll wait

Ewwa 07-25-2007 03:51 PM

Alternatively go to the nearest bar/pub, especially when all the crew members walk past you (and the busses)!

Calum 07-25-2007 05:17 PM

Great about the busses, but not so great about the bar or pub when you're 15. ;)

Nine 07-25-2007 06:13 PM

Calum - I was talking to Shane just out the back of the Hexagon at Reading.

All the band were just in and out having ciggies, because of course ya can't smoke inside now! I spoke to Vyv briefly, and lighting lady who's name I can't remember for the life of me. Also shared a glass of wine with the Shanemista, he is lovelyjubbly.

Just hang around, they'll always stop and chat!

mariaoran 07-31-2007 02:18 AM

:icon_scra Well i think none of us had listened to the recording of Elephant at Bonaroo (mind my misspelling) because he actually says, and i quote, "she's back home recording" after someone in the audience asks where Lisa is.

cheers!

He's been saying it for ages, almost every time the question is asked. :)
