Bungee Jump for Charity! To all my fellow Eskimos in Cork!
So, I was at work today and then those two people came in from this organization and told me a bit about this event. It's at the end of April in Little Island and apparently it's the highest jump in Ireland. Anyway. The main thing is, it's for charity. And I thought, maybe there are some fellow Eskimos who would like to take part as well... If you want to get more info, just let me know. I'm sure it's good fun!

used to live close to one in NZ for a while. Never had the gonads to do it...and not now. I'd give money alright

That is where I used to work

I don't think I'd have the guts I'm afraid :) What charity is it for?

id prefer to skydive than bungee jump. it worries me that a piece of elastic will save me from splattering to the ground.
for a good cause tho :) |

yeah but you always have the assurance that someone who knows what theyre doing is strapped to you ;)
if im going down he's going down with me type of thing hehe |
well, if ye can't jump yerselves, out of which reason ever, money would always be welcome. you had the choice of 10 charities, i think, you could give your money to. as i'm not irish i went after the explanations that you could get, so i chose '1 in 4', one that helpes sexually abused people. i thought that's good cause.
simon, you could always do a tandem bungee-jump, if it's that you want to take someone with you. i did one of those jumps (where you survive, i have to say) with my little brother. i was half deaf afterwards and he hyper, but it was good fun to entertain him. :hello2: |
