Scandinavian dates
thought we could start a thread about the forthcoming dates in Scandinavia, 2 gigs in Denmark (Copenhagen, Aarhus), two in Sweden (Holsingborg and Stockholm) and one in Norway (Oslo)
a few of us are going to some of those, myself I'll be at the first 3... anybody else going? really excited about the show in Copnehagen, at this little little tiny tiny venue called Lille Vega :) |
I'll also be at the Vega Gig and have a spare ticket of anyone is in need of one.
|
hey Jan, if you wanna meet before the gig, a few of us are meeting at the kebab in front of vega at 17:00-17:30 to eat something (it's called Pasha Kebab and the food is very good actually... it's on the corner Enghavevej/Lyrskovgade, just in front of Vega... ), and plan to line up somewhere between 17:30-18:00
|
Normally we should be at the Copenhagen show !
 |
hey Claude, didn't know!!!
if you wanna join us for early-dinner, we'll be at that kebab around 17, or making a line somewhere between 17 and 18 |

was explaining this to a friend by pm, so i thought I'd add it here too
was really surprised at Northside festival at how Damo's music can touch people, even people that doesn't know his music at all... when we arrived at the festival, maybe 1 hour before Damo was supposed to start, the front row was almost full, but to my surprise it was people already queuing to see Duran Duran, who were playing 9 hours later or something anyway, we sneaked it, and I was talking with this woman in her 40s maybe, big Duran Duran fan, on line for hours, and I told her we were there for Damien and she said she didn't know him and haven't even heard his music before today... but what surprised me was that during the gig I just looked at her during TBW and she was crying her heart out, mascara running, tears everywhere... so was really surprised at how Damo's music touches people, even people that listen for the first time |
