I hate shouting things at shows, but I desperately wanted it at the Apollo.

is anyone going? I take it you just have to show up early and there is a line to go in?

You usually win tickets pretty far in advance and have to put in 3 possible dates you want to win, so it's really geared toward Letterman fans in general. Pretty hard to get in just for the people on the show the day of, but they do typically have a standby line for extra tickets just in case. Kind of guts me that it's only about 10 blocks away, but it's not worth missing work over.

Bono hurt his arm, so U2 is not doing Fallon this week. He might be able to get a booking there, too!

Of course they just called me about possibly getting a ticket. It won't work out because a) I'm already at work and b) you have to answer a trivia question about a recent Letterman episode. Damn.

Taping is at 5:30 you can try to leave work early. You did look "sick" Saturday night.

Google the question, maybe it's as easy as who was on last week.

When I went to a taping, I had to be there by 4. I'll just write it off and keep my eyes on the prize of next week's Brooklyn taping.

Just a performance, I'm sure. He rarely chats with the musicians, and he has two other guests.

Well, at least I won't have to flip between Letterman & Fallon tonight due to Bono's injury.

Great performance of I Don't Want To Change You. Damien seems very poised publicly these days. I felt like he was nervous until the very end because he was playing so tight, but I don't think it was noticeable at all. He was all smooth and suave up there.

Yes, I believe that's his Baby Martin. He began playing it sometime around the time of the 9 tour.

Random thought 2 months later, but I hope he plays the Late Show again when Stephen Colbert takes over!
