he was on today fm tonight (rather than thursday night - as specified on the news page).

in summary.
a bit of talk about burma (same as usual).
talk about the last year (got pissed off with attention etc...)
talk about the new album - not gonna be out this year as it wouldn't be ready until late in the year at the earliest and he doesn't want to put it out competing with "big bands" looking for christmas hits (not that he's worried about promotional stuff tho).

sorry, they advertised on their website www.petsounds.ie that it would be on thursday night... i'll see if i can get them to put it up on their website.

I'm thinking that it's probably some kind of way to really take himself off the popular music scene... by next january people will have found something else to pretend they like. Maybe he just wants to keep things low key, with any luck he'll play a few warm up shows towards the end of this year.

a good way to stay off the popular music scene would be to stop re releasing your album and the singles from it, 'unplayed piano' was recorded a month ago and has already found its' way onto another 'limited edition o '.........

sorry my mistake, not 'limited edition' just 'special edition'.....

I thought that version of bdp2 was cr*p! i thought he never realy got into the song and connected with it properly.i have a live version he did somewhwere and it is fanf*ckingtastic ,so maybe im just used to that one.i don't know.what do i know anyway. :smiley24:
