plus:
A father cries
Righteous Little Witch

Wait, I'm confused 'eve and the day' is the same song as 'what the night is for', right?
'Cause they're both in the list ;)

JSteggs 07-03-2015 05:30 PM

What's The Quill? I've never heard of it.

Last September, when the new website was launched, for a week or so, there was a picture section with some shots from inside the studio.
One of those shots was a sheet of paper with some illegible lyrics on it. The only thing that was clear was the title "the quill"

glo32 07-03-2015 07:49 PM

we should request it at shows and see Damien's reaction

carrroline 07-03-2015 10:44 PM

^ :)
yeah, someone should! And righteous little witch as well :) (Just not me :) )

acquadigio 07-04-2015 03:27 AM

Does this count? lol :D https://youtube.com/watch?v=ajiwa77CaJQ

borneoman 07-04-2015 09:43 AM

^ nope not counting juniper songs not performed solo

We should request Forgotten Deers
To see his reaction? Or just ask,
damien, where deers go to be forgotten?? ;-)

carrroline 07-04-2015 02:12 PM

Eva, did you download all those photos before they disappeared?
Would you mind sharing them? :)

Marti, the originals were rather large, and I did some photoshop magic on them and could decipher some.

borneoman 07-04-2015 02:46 PM

on the phone, cannot see decipher anything on those lyrics...
if someone can, please post :)

was also thinking there was also that song he played once in NASA, Reykjavik, in 2008 I think, was one of the songs from Barcelona, on piano... something like "I´m just ordinary lalala"... not sure if we ever named that one :D

EDIT: found it!!

borneoman 07-04-2015 02:52 PM

^haven´t listen to that one in ages... love the melody and the few lyrics...

should we name it??? :D

Ka8 07-04-2015 06:38 PM

Well, that's the first time I listen to this new song, he says something about seeds... Maybe it's Mustard Seeds?

damien lisa 07-04-2015 11:00 PM

:smiley18:what a creepy thread:eek:

acquadigio 07-05-2015 12:28 AM

I tried but only the hand writing part is readable. "If I do not pick/ you up when you fall...", any idea?

How can they exist if never performed?

*publicly performed

If a tree falls to the ground and there's no one around to hear the noise, doesn't it make any sound?

If damien performs a song and there's no eskimo around to hear, doesn't it exist?

:)

InspirationDestination 07-07-2015 01:16 AM

^Perfect point! Don't we have 1 verse of mustard seeds. I've never heard the quill, but love the title. A father cries!!?? never even heard mention of that. Must've been during my Igloo hiatus.

borneoman 07-07-2015 07:35 AM

A Father Cries is pre-O days

Damo made a tape mix (yes, a tape) for a fan/friend with some demos from the early days back in like 2000 or something and this is one of the songs on that cassette :D

EDIT: found it

verenita 07-07-2015 11:00 PM
