They used to sell tickets a few years ago, only about 40 went on sale for each night of recording. When you were able to buy them, you bought them "blind", as you did not know which act, would play which night.

Now, the only way of getting to the gigs is through competitions and giveaways.

I was lucky to see him the last time he played Other Voices in 2006, just after "9" came out. Suberb gig in a very intimate surroundings. After it was finished, all the artists went across the road to "Benners" hotel, after a while, Damien came in and sat down and had some dinner, went up to thank him for the gig, and left him alone then.

Each night of recording has several artists, Damien will be just one of many artists to perform.

There is also a live tv feed to some of the pubs adjacent to the church - which is the venue.

not even sure what fauve means... it´s French I think meaning crazy or like explosive...

at first I thought Damien... but it says "band"... so maybe they mean the Delorentos??? cos they´ve played OV before (I think)... the other 2 bands are too new I´d say...

Fauve means something like 'wild' or 'wild animal', it's mainly used for the art movement 'Fauvism'

I have no idea what they're looking for though.
