Hi everybody. ´'m newbie so i'll introduce myself. I'm wikano, from Spain (did you guessed by my english?). I heard O for the first time two years ago, in Finland. I was there with the Erasmus program and one Irish guy had this Marvelous Cd, so in the end everybody in my building was in love with it! I burned it, because I didn't think I could get it in Madrid, but last Spring my girlfriend gave me a surprise: She had bought it. So she gave me it but in fact it´s more often at her home! I already knew theweb, but today I've foundthe forum and the FTP. I Was considering giving my girlfriend a Cd with some live recordings from the web, but with the FTP I have many more to choose. So I want to ask you which gigs you like more, which songs are specially intense... Thank you very much and hope to find you here often WIKANO |
Welcome Wikano. Where did your gf find the CD in Spain? I thought Damien was keeping Spain free of his music so he could holiday there unrecognised...

bienvenido al iglú Wikano en una entrevista damo dijo que le gustaría ir a vivir por un tiempo a barcelona |

welcome wikano I dont know about recordings but everyone talks about the Union Chapel gig. I havent heard it so cant comment but im sure its one of the better recordings available. As for intense songs, The Blower's Daughter Part 2 always does it for me, as does Me, My Yoke and I. Good luck with the cd, nice to meet u |
Hey Welcome, yeah spain is a place that damo said he doesn't want to promote his music there, bit unfortunate for you meaning he will probably not gig there
But don't worry here we can help enjoy some damo, get some live stuff and start with the live at the Union Chapel stuff, is damo in one of his finest moments. Best place to get hold of it is from e-bay, most of them are fairly inexpensive Good Luck |
Thanks to all of you! I´ll try to get that union chapel gig and check some others. About Demian rice in Spai, well, Ialready knew I don´t have any chance of seeing him... He's been quiteunderground here, but some people know him, some import shops have it and even the main fanzine chose him one of the 40 best last year's CD (It´s when it has been discovered here, I suppose) One more question, could anyone explain me how to convert shn files into mp3? Thanks again!!!! |
Bienvenido, wikano! Lo siento, pero no te puedo ayudar con la pregunta..

Sorry for not answering, and thanks to every one. My problem with SHN files is that I don't know how to copy them into a CD, I've always used Windows Media player to burn CD's but even after installing a plug-in (which allows me to hear them) it gives me eror signs when copying. Thak you once again |
you have to download a converter here http://www.etree.org/mkw.htmlit will allow you to convert shn to numerous other file types including mp3 and wave |
